Aiming High

Suffolk County Council has been given almost £7 million pounds, over three years, to transform short breaks for disabled children and young people.

Young people reaching high

The money has been given to Suffolk through the Aiming High for Disabled Children’s Programme. Suffolk is one of twenty-one pathfinder authorities in England to receive the money a year early and was chosen after a rigorous selection process.

Disabled children and young people have told us that they want to be able to do what their non disabled peers do and Suffolk has lots of exciting ideas!
